We had told you that Kindle would be offering a free bestselling e-book for download every day for two weeks a few days ago. And today, it is offering one of the best self-improvement books ever written as part of the deal. Kindle users today can go right ahead and download Stephen R Covey’s classic “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” without paying a penny.

Yes, you heard that right – the book is available for free download if you are a Kindle user. The catch? None. All you have to do is get to the site before midnight (when the deal expires) and grab the book that Time magazine included in its list of 25 Most Influential Business Management Books. For those who have not heard of it (welcome to the planet, folks), The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People was first published in 1989 and introduced the concept of Paradigm Shift, while outlining methods by which a person could get more out of what they possessed. Some dismissed it as preaching, but consumers lapped it up – at the last count, the paper edition of the book had sold more than 25 million copies and its audio version had trotted up another 15 million.
