BookWag is a book club! Or more like a network of many book clubs under one umbrella.

It is a community where book lovers step forward to start a book club, and invite others to join in. BookWag will play the role of a facilitator connecting these clubs and new members, authors, publishers, booksellers and host venues. BookWag will limit its role to providing guidelines on setting up and running book clubs, with each group deciding their own style of functioning.

At the same time, BookWag will:
* Encourage members to share their opinions of books with the larger community.
* Work with authors and publishers to send news, updates, special offers and advance copies to members.
* Try to get discounts on books for members.
* Publish BookWag.com where content is generated by members.
* Invite authors to interact with members.
* Identify hosts where meetings could be held.

Membership to BookWag will be open to all with no fees to be charged. There will no other entry barriers either.
